Electrical Design Engineer General Skill Set (Required): -Wire harness design for mobile applications -Design for corrosion resistance -Functional Analysis -Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis -Root Cause Analysis -Design For Manufacturing/Assembly -Technical Writing -Electric/Gas Vehicle Systems Skill Set (Desired): -Battery and charging system specification and vehicle integration -Electromechanical contactor specification -Gas/Diesel Power Train experience -Small engine sensor technology (pressure, temperature, hall) -Starting systems -Fuel injection systems a plus -Hybrid systems technology a plus -X-by-wire systems a plus
