A leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, is currently seeking a Structural Engineer at the Ohio corporate headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidate will be responsible for assuring the performance and reliability objectives are met for all structural components. This will be accomplished by, but not limited to, performing structural FEA analysis using Patran and Nastran, fatigue analysis, and testing to support load case development and confirmation of result validity. Qualified candidate will also be responsible for analyzing failed structures or components to determine probable cause and propose and evaluate alternative solutions to provide design improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a four-year Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree and three years of experience with FEA. Familiarity with Unigraphics a plus.
