Perform/coordinate engineering & design work for specific products. Use Pro/E to coordinate development of layouts & design modification in existing products, & information required for production use. Use engineering tools to analyze design to meet requirements for strength, noise, functionality, ergonomics, safety & quality. Coordinate w/suppliers where engineering input is required to develop specs for products/components. Develop project plans w/input from engineering, marketing & production. Coordinate project activity & report progress & status of projects as needed. Work w/production, manufacturing engineering, lab supervision, marketing, service, & engineering personnel during implementation of projects. Prepare & review complete engineering change packages, including BOM investigations. Use dept. CAD system per company standards/procedures. Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field, or foreign equivalent degree, & at least 5 years of relevant work exp. Must have exp. w/PRO/E & CAD.
