Basic Functions: Principal Hydraulic Design Engineer for development and implementation of new product designs and support of current product (VIT) items.
Representative Activities: Hydraulic system/component engineer --- design and release into production new designs to support ongoing product development plans for of support current product activity to ensure resolution of VIT items in a timely effective manner.
Position Dimensions: BS / MS Mechanical Engineering, hydraulic system design, good mechanical / technical knowledge, good communication skills and ability to work within a team environment, Pro/E skills a plus
Typical Decisions Made: determine hydraulic system design solutions under lead of the system group, selection of hydraulic components under lead of the component group, perform and verify / validate design calculations, implement performance and field test fixes
Job Requirements:
BS / MS degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering with emphasis in hydraulics . Minimum 5 years experience in hydraulic systems design. Pro-E training and experience, perferrably in hydraulic plumbing. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills. Must have working knowledge of general computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
